In an effort to alleviate the ongoing disruption of certification in the industry due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association, with the support of Dayton Superior Corporation, is announcing the third campaign of private, in-office training and exam opportunities for the tilt-up industry. In the past two years, more than two dozen private events were held, resulting in over 225 new certifications. Through a blending of virtual and in-person instruction and exam administration, companies can host employees in their own space for the Tilt-Up 101 certification preparatory course and the ACI/TCA Tilt-Up Supervisor and Technician Certification Exam.

Costs associated with this event are the responsibility of the host company. If the number of participants is not finalized at this point, study guides and exams can be added at a later date.

Private Exam Fee ($3,800 – In-Person) ($1,800 – Virtual)

Private exams conducted outside of the Tilt-Up Convention and Expo, World of Concrete, or ACI Convention are charged $3,500. Through Dayton Superior’s sponsorship of this program, we are offering a hybrid (virtual education) option for a reduced fee of $1,500.

Study Guide – The Construction of Tilt-Up ($135/each)

The Construction of Tilt-Up (bilingual) features important study references used to prepare tilt-up professionals to pass the ACI/TCA Tilt-Up Certification. Readers will find information pertaining to the basics of the principle materials that comprise tilt-up systems; developing a solid tilt-up construction team; understanding the design aspects of tilt-up panels fully; detailed construction processes and, more.

Tilt-Up Supervisor and Technician Certification Exam ($235/each)

The exam is closed book and candidates will have two hours to complete the exam. If you indicated earlier in the reservation process that you would like a number of exams in Spanish, a representative will be in touch to get quantities prior to finalizing exam counts.

DAYTON SUPERIOR + TCA PRIVATE CERTIFICATION TOUR

Dayton Superior has dedicated themselves to the program through the certification of a significant portion of Dayton Superior tilt-up related personnel by April 1, 2021. Additionally, they have pledged the availability of ACI/TCA tilt-up certified Dayton Superior personal to serve as proctors for private certification events across the United States and Canada. In recognition of this commitment, TCA offers the following benefits to those scheduling private exams through this program.
