La TCA elige a Corwin como presidente

DSC_0121-Edit-EditThe Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) – the global authority for the tilt-up industry – has announced Kimberly Corwin, President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) of A.H. Harris & Sons, as President on the TCA Board of Directors.

Corwin has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry and has been a member of the TCA for 16 years. She is past chair of the TCA Promotions Committee, an active member of the TCA Meetings & Education Committee and past chair of the TCA Global Associates Council. Corwin is also a member of the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI).

“Kim’s passion for tilt-up is inspiring,” said Mitch Bloomquist, Managing Director of the TCA. “Her selfless contributions to the association and strong leadership will continue to serve this industry very well.”

In 2003, Corwin joined A.H. Harris, where she has been promoting the growth of tilt-up construction in the northeast region through numerous educational events and A/E presentations, as well as advancing the use of welded rebar cages. During her tenure at A.H. Harris, she has implemented many new customer focused initiatives, vendor development programs and an internal education forum. In 2011, Corwin assumed the role of President of A.H. Harris & Sons, Inc.

When asked why she is so active in the industry Corwin states, “I believe in advocating not only for Harris but for the concrete construction industry as a whole, one person can make a difference.”
