The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) is pleased to announce a new bilingual format for Tilt-Up Today. A quarterly publication of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association, Tilt-Up Today is the source for tilt-up industry news, market intelligence, business strategies, technical solutions, product information, and other resources for professionals in the tilt-up industry.<\/p>\n

Starting with issue 22-4 | Winter 2014\/2015, Tilt-Up Today will be published in a bilingual format with each article, member news story and TCA announcement presented in both English and Spanish side-by-side.<\/p>\n

\u201cGiven the importance of the Spanish-speaking community to the construction industry, we feel that this is a great move for the association and makes Tilt-Up Today, and the organization as a whole, more relevant and useful,\u201d said Mitch Bloomquist, managing director for the TCA. \u201cNot only will this new format serve our continuously expanding readership outside of the country, it will serve those Spanish speaking workers here in the United States.\u201d Nox-Crete Products Group and Alianza Soluciones are sponsoring the new feature.<\/p>\n

The TCA has seen firsthand the importance of the tilt-up message in native language throughout the U.S. and Latin America, states Jim Baty, technical director for the TCA. \u201cAs tilt-up becomes the construction method of dominance, certification is one of the first steps taken to increase awareness of the quality that exists in the workforce. There is a direct correlation to the growth and demonstration of knowledge with the availability and presentation of content in Spanish.\u201d<\/p>\n
