Conversations surrounding contract language, engineering details, product reviews, human resource questions, construction techniques, materials research, and more have resulted in a wealth of knowledge and experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/tilt-up.org\/tilt-uptoday\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Round-Table-r.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15362\" width=\"680\" height=\"264\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tilt-up.org\/tilt-uptoday\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Round-Table-r.jpg 680w, https:\/\/tilt-up.org\/tilt-uptoday\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Round-Table-r-300x116.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Until now, that valuable material has been difficult to organize and nearly impossible to access after the fact. Katt Price, PE with Schaefer, a structural engineering firm with offices in Ohio and Arizona, has championed the effort to renovate this service from the moment she took on a leadership role with TCA\u2019s new collaborative for young professionals, Tilt-Up Industry Leaders of Tomorrow (TILT). \u201cThe TCA hotline is such a valuable resource for the tilt community,\u201d said Price. \u201cSince I\u2019ve joined the hotline, I have seen a handful of the email strings shared among today\u2019s industry leaders, and it made me wonder, How many more great conversations happened before I joined? How many of my questions have already been answered by this seasoned group?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past several months, TILT, in coordination with TCA\u2019s manager for regulatory and technical affairs (Jim Baty, FACI, FTCA), has been documenting previous conversations, assigning keywords, and categorizing them for publication. In February 2021, the service is moving to a new platform where past and future discussions will be easier to search, interact with, and reference. \u201cWe can\u2019t wait to go live soon,\u201d said Price. \u201cThere are some amazing conversations hidden in these emails that can benefit all of the tilt-up community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is a great step forward for this valuable member resource,\u201d said Baty.&nbsp; \u201cWhile the access to experienced colleagues is valuable in the moment, the history or legacy of the conversations has not been something members could use for research. Now, not only will they be able to research this archive of great information, but also come to know how often their questions are shared by others\u2014one of the many great reasons an association exists.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process for joining the hotline remains the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simply visit <a href=\"http:\/\/tilt-up.org\/tilt-uptoday\/es\/resources\/hotline\/\">tilt-up.org\/resources\/hotline<\/a>.
