La Asociaci\u00f3n de Hormig\u00f3n Tilt-Up (TCA)<\/strong> \u2013 a non-profit international organization that serves to expand and improve the use of tilt-up as the preferred building system \u2013 has announced a call for entries for the 2020 Tilt-Up Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, the TCA honors those organizations, people and projects that successfully illustrate the variety, beauty and flexibility of tilt-up construction. The diversity of participants is highlighted through four distinct awards programs: Tilt-Up Achievement Awards, Tilt-Up Professional Awards, Tilt-Up Safety Awards, and the Tilt-Up Concrete Association College of Fellows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brief descriptions of the award programs are presented below. Additional information and submittal instructions can be found at www.tilt-up.org\/awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premios al Logro en Construcci\u00f3n Tilt-Up<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established by the TCA in 1992, the Tilt-Up Achievement Awards program honors projects that use site-cast tilt-up concrete to introduce new building types, advance industry technology, and provide unique solutions to building programs. The winning entries illustrate the variety, beauty and flexibility of the tilt-up construction method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alphonse Engelman Safety Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TCA created the Safety Awards program in order to recognize the contractors in the industry committed to maintaining safe working environments on their job sites. The program is named the \u201cAlphonse Engelman Safety Awards Program\u201d in honor of past TCA president and champion of tilt-up construction safety, Al Engelman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professional Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TCA Professional Awards Program honors outstanding contributions to the field of tilt-up design, construction and innovation. The association\u2019s board of directors will select professional award winners after nomination by the general membership and recommendation by the TCA Executive Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TCA College of Fellows<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fellowship is one of the highest honors the TCA can bestow upon an individual. Elevation to Fellowship recognizes not only professional achievement but also significant contributions to the industry and the association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
