AH-1 is a combination of organic and inorganic chemicals that reacts with Portland cement to produce more complete hydration. Water requirements, bleed water and shrinkage are reduced. The increased hydration provides internal curing and a much harder cement paste. AH-1 increases the early and ultimate strength of concrete. These combined reactions produce impermeable concrete that is hard and non-dusting. AH-1's primary function is the waterproofing of concrete. The true advantages go far beyond the waterproofing. Anti-Hydro reacts chemically with Portland cement increasing the hydration percentage of the cement by as much as 30%. The morphology of the concrete is altered significantly reducing the porosity and eliminating the migration of liquid and gas into or out of the set concrete. The changes at the molecular and structural level created by the use of AH-1 provide incredible benefits.
