Metabo HPT is a manufacturer of power tools for professionals and DIY. In October 2018, Metabo HPT became the new brand name for Koki Holdings America-formerly part of the Hitachi Group in North America offering the same tools with only a new name. For 70 years, Metabo HPT has been an innovator in the power tool industry, launching tools seen on every job site, such as the cordless impact driver and the slide miter saw. For 7 years in a row Metabo HPT has been named the Pro Preferred Brand of Pneumatics by Builder and Developer Magazine. Metabo HPT is innovating again with the MultiVolt system, which allows the 36V power tools to accept both a 36 volt battery and also an AC adapter.
