Dirk Van Cauteren holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Applied Science of Aachen (Germany) and an additional degree in concrete Engineering and is member of the German concrete engineers association. He worked from 2003 until 2015 for 6 years as technical advice manager and for 5 years as regional sales manager for the steel fibre business division of ArcelorMIttal in Luxembourg. From 2011 until 2015 he was Second Chairman at the German association of steel fibre suppliers (VDS). He is specialized in design and technical support for steel fibre reinforced concrete and for industrial flooring. From February 2015 until October 2018 he was Managing Director of Internal Joint Tech Engineering in Luxembourg. This company was mainly focused on R&D, design and technical assistance for dilatation and construction joints for industrial floors manufactured by Hengelhoef Concrete Joints n.v. In November 2018 he became member of management team at Hengelhoef Concrete Joints in Belgium with responsibilities as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and Head of Technical Support.
