George Morcous, Ph.D., P.E., is a Professor in the Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a nationally recognized expert in reinforced concrete and structural systems research. His work focuses on improving the structural performance, durability, and sustainability of concrete construction through experimental testing, analytical modeling, and applied research. Throughout his career, Dr. Morcous has collaborated extensively with industry partners to advance innovative structural systems and construction technologies, helping bridge the gap between academic research and practical implementation. His contributions have supported the development of more efficient, resilient, and sustainable concrete structures while advancing engineering knowledge across the design and construction community.
