Robert Schindler leads Arch-Con’s award-winning, nationally recognized safety program. As a veteran of the US Air Force, safety has always been an important part of his career. Schindler serves as safety director with 17 years’ experience in the construction industry. At Arch-Con, Schindler implements safety procedures and a job specific safety program to all on-site construction personnel by conducting safety inspections and managing OSHA compliance. Under his leadership, Arch-Con has received the Alphonse Engelman Best Tilt-up Safety General Contractor Less than 250k Work Hours award in 2016 and 2017. Arch-Con is also a five-time Zero Lost Time Accident Achievement Award Winner. Schindler is an OSHA certified trainer and holds the credentials Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS). He is AGC Houston’s 2018 Ray Lambright Safety Director of the Year.
