David Tomasula is a Managing Principal of LJB Inc., an employee-owned firm that provides civil and structural engineering, as well as geospatial, safety, health and environmental services to clients across the United States, as well as internationally. David oversees LJB’s Structures Practice, a team of more than 35 engineers, architects, designers and detailers who specialize in the structural design of buildings for the commercial, industrial, institutional and public sectors. Since 1996, he has participated in the design of hundreds of buildings incorporating tilt-up construction, including more than a dozen projects recognized as TCA Achievement Award winners. He is recognized as an industry expert on the design of tilt-up construction, and he has been invited to speak to organizations including the TCA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Command, National Council of Structural Engineers Associations, Oklahoma Structural Engineers Association, and EduCode International. He has served two terms as a member of the TCA Board of Directors, including as the Board’s President in 2007.
