PMI has developed patented self-consolidating concrete (SCC) mixtures known as PlaceReady and FormReady for use in tilt-up construction. These mix designs provide unique solutions to age old tilt-up issues. Mixes are usually custom designed to meet the specific needs of the project.
This seminar will be focusing on the New Port Ritchey Elementary School Project, a challenging project that required early tilting strength, architectural brick fascia on portions of the panels, and a tight time table, as well as a contractor who had never used PlaceReady.
Many contractors have valid concerns about using a new product, this seminar will discuss how a ready mix supplier can produce SCC concrete consistently, accurately, and successfully. SCC has been used globally for over 20 years with great success on some of the world's most iconic and identifiable projects.
There is no reason why SCC cannot be used on your next project.
