International Keynote Dinner: Tilt-Up Applications in Brazilian Market

New to the Tilt-Up Convention and Expo this year is the International Keynote Dinner. Hosted by Construction Materials, this event allows for concentrated attention on the efforts of TCA members to cultivate tilt-up markets outside of the United States. Each year will feature a talk focused on the intricacies, challenges and opportunities for tilt-up in a particular international market. The inaugural keynote will be presented by Vitor Faustino Pereira, Director of Estrutural Projectos e Consultoria de Estruturas in Londrina, Paraná Brazil. Vitor’s presentation will include an overview of the history of tilt-up in Brazil and its application on various building typologies through a series of case studies. Differences between structural systems, technology and construction techniques in Brazil compared to the US will also be featured. Attendees will gain awareness of the capabilities of Brazilian tilt-up design and construction professionals, the economic and social drivers of the Brazilian tilt-up market and appreciation for the opportunities that exist for tilt-up in Brazil.

The International Keynote Dinner is complimentary for attendees traveling from outside of the United States and available to all other attendees for an additional cost. All attendees, regardless of location, must specifically select this dinner during the registration process.
