It is also one of the most critical events in time where all safety practices and procedures are adhered to in order to assure everyone's well being, and to provide the customer with the confidence in you, as well as the system of tilt-up construction. This program will discuss some of the impactful practices that will help for a safe and successful erection process, some of which may appear minor in nature, but can have significant impact on the outcome. Some of the topics we will discuss in detail include: Hazard identification, whether underground or overhead, Experience of crew and individual crew member assignments, Critical Lift Plan review, Limited Access Zones, Rigging identification and inspection, Sequencing and unusual circumstances, and several tips and tricks that are sure to save time, money and lives. With careful planning and consistent safety practices, we can all provide our internal and external customers with positive and rewarding experiences that will continue to enhance our industry and have them coming back for more!
ICONX LLC produces and distributes the IconX Shear Connector line. With a new 5"- 6" connector being introduced to the family this year, we are now able to support you on projects with insulation thickness from 2" all the way up to 6" and everything in between, making IconX the smart choice for your high performance insulated wall panels. The foundational goal of the IconX System was to develop a shear connector to make insulated wall panels longer, stronger, and stiffer than previously available. It was also important for the connector to work with any rigid insulation in panels reinforced with mesh or rebar. Due to the composite action that the IconX Shear Connector facilitates between the wythes of concrete, the total concrete thickness can be reduced by 3 to 4 inches over conventional non-composite panel design, saving you material costs and potentially reducing your crane size and footing and foundation sizes. Simply put, we can do more for less. We are committed to helping you have a successful project with us. Contact us by phone or email, or come meet us at the TCA show to discuss what we have to offer.
