This course teaches the benefits of using siphonic drainage instead of the traditional methods that rely on gravity. Attendees will be able to understand a new method of roof drainage that utilizes smaller diameter pipes running with no pitch – a roof drain that leads to an overall safer roof with less penetrations. We will also look at how to utilize siphonic drainage to be compliant with changes to code regarding the need to size the roof drain based on GPM.
