This four-story, 234,000-square-foot, Class-A office building utilized Tilt-Up construction for the exterior facade. Featuring a 13,000-square-foot data center with high levels of security provisions and backup systems, the facility was constructed of Tilt-Up panels over structural steel framing. The Tilt-Up panels were 34 feet wide by 68 feet tall and weighed close to 230,000 pounds. In addition, the panels had 30-foot wide windows on each level. The Tilt-Up bracing system was designed to withstand tornado force winds.
This project had a very aggressive schedule and was completed in eight months from the start of foundations to the owner taking occupancy. The Tilt-Up portion of the job took only seven weeks, which included the beginning of forming of panels to the last panel erected. In addition, this project is LEED CS v2.0 registered.
