Dr. Alan Reay established Alan Reay Consultants in the 1970s. Since that time, the firm has steadily grown and is now one of the largest consulting engineering practices in its field in the South Island.

The firm has been involved in many aspects of structural design and architectural design over its history that has proven time and again, its versatility and innovative style are second to none.

Alan Reay Consultants have clients that cover a broad array of backgrounds including leading developers, national and multinational companies and both corporate and private building owners.

The company maintains a substantial client base both locally and nationally and undertakes work on structural designs for community, residential and commercial high-rise and industrial projects.

About the TCA

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
