2016 TCA Convention

One Five-Story Building’s Impact on a Mature Tilt-Up Market

Presenter: Panel Discussion
Date and time: Tuesday, October 11 - 11:00a to 12:00p

INOVA, Colorado’s first five-story tilt-up building, set a new standard for the suburban class A office market in Denver. The tilt-up design offered efficient floor plates, expansive windows, LEED Silver Certification and highly competitive lease rates. This led to the building being 100% leased prior to completion of construction and strong market demand for the continuation of tilt-up design with INOVA II.

Hear the story of INOVA from conception to tenant occupation and its impact on the market.

About the TCA

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
