Guest of Honor - Ed Sauter

1992 – Ed Sauter coordinated the Tilt-Up Concrete Association's presence at World of Concrete following the unexpected departure of the previous executive director in 1992. It was during the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) Board of Directors meeting a few months later at World of Concrete that then board member, Sauter, agreed to take over as interim director of the association. Now, twenty-three years later, an era comes to an end.

2015 – The TCA proudly announces Ed Sauter as our guest of honor for the Winter Tilt-Up Jubilee during World of Concrete on February 4, 2015 from 5-7pm at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. For more than two decades, the TCA has benefited from the passion, commitment and leadership of Sauter as Executive Director. As he enters part-time retirement at the end of this year, stepping down as TCA executive director, we invite you to join us in a celebration of his accomplishments and all the TCA has come to be over the last twenty-three years.

A brief annual meeting will be held at 4:45 pm immediately prior to the event. The party will get started at 5 pm with good food, libations and networking with some of the association's most senior and most recent members.

About the TCA

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
